The PranaMaya Freediving House is a place and a freediving school in Playa del Carmen, designed as a physical base for training, education and community. Located just steps from the beach, it offers a dedicated space to learn, train and connect around freediving.

A SPACE FOR EDUCATION
As a freediving school in Playa del Carmen, PranaMaya places education at the core of its approach. The Freediving House offers a calm and dedicated environment where students can focus on learning before entering the water.
Theory classes, workshops and briefings are held in a quiet and comfortable setting, allowing divers to concentrate on breathing techniques, safety procedures and freediving fundamentals.
The space is adapted to small groups, encouraging interaction and personalized explanations. Learning here feels structured, accessible and aligned with each diver’s level.
A PRIVATE POOL TO TRAIN
The Freediving House includes a private pool dedicated to freediving training, offering a controlled and safe environment in the heart of Playa del Carmen.
The pool is used for confined water sessions and technique drills, ideal for working on relaxation, breath control, duck dives, equalization and safety skills.
This setup allows students of the freediving school in Playa del Carmen to build strong foundations and body awareness, while instructors can observe, correct and guide each athlete individually.
The pool creates a smooth connection between theory and open water practice, all in one dedicated place.
A shop to get the best gear
Inside the Freediving House, you will find a specialized freediving shop offering carefully selected equipment adapted to warm water conditions and all levels of practice.
Martin will help you choose the right gear based on your experience, body type and objectives, from masks and fins to buoys and safety accessories, with a focus on comfort, reliability and performance.
You will find equipment from Cressi, Bonassi, Cetma, Octopus, C4 and GoPro, selected for warm water freediving and everyday training. The shop focuses on honest advice and guidance, helping you dive safer and more comfortably, and also offers PranaMaya-branded accessories with the same freediving spirit.
A community meeting point
More than a training center, the Freediving House is a community meeting point connected to the freediving school in Playa del Carmen, bringing together local and international divers.
Its central location, just steps from the beach, makes it easy to stop by, with easy parking nearby and hotels, cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Whether you are staying in Playa del Carmen or just passing through, the Freediving House is easy to reach and easy to include in your day.
Divers come here to meet, share experiences and connect before or after training. Exchanges between students, instructors and experienced freedivers create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, fully aligned with the PranaMaya philosophy.
