The Azul Freediving Challenge – Fall Edition 2025 was a resounding success! We had the pleasure of welcoming 29 athletes representing 13 different nationalities, and their outstanding performances left us truly inspired. Each diver showcased not only their skill and dedication but also the spirit of unity that defines the global freediving community.

We were thrilled to welcome 13 first-time competitors, and we’re celebrating 3 new national records along with countless personal bests!
A huge thank you to the incredible safety team, judges, athletes, staff, sponsors, the cenote, and everyone who helped make these three days truly unforgettable!

NATIONAL RECORDS
Brian Myers / National record for Cayman Islands
Representing the Cayman Islands, has been free falling into the depths of the Caribbean Sea for 2 years now. After attaining his AIDA certificate, he’s achieved PB and now, he’s proudly set a national record in CWTB with a 35m dive.
Vanessa Estol / National record for Uruguay
Uruguayan athlete and coach, who achieved a national record for Uruguay in CNF with a 47m dive. She’s a psychologist and the first Uruguayan woman to summit Everest. Together, they made history representing their country.
Dhyana Landa / National record for Peru
This marks her first official depth competition, where she successfully completed a 34m dive in the CNF discipline an impressive debut showcasing both mental focus and physical control, all in the unique environment of the cenote.
